Person who calls police gets arrested for alleged attack of victim on a toilet

JONESBORO, Ark. – A woman called police about an ‘unwanted guest’ at her home this week in Jonesboro. Instead, she ended up arrested following a physical altercation that involved her allegedly trying to pull the guest off of the toilet.

On Monday in Jonesboro, the 41-year-old woman was arrested for assault on a family or household member in the third degree. According to the MO of the incident report, the “suspect attempted to remove victim from toilet.”

It happened at about 8 PM Monday, January 13. Officer Nathaniel Cole was dispatched to the 1400-block of Curtis in reference to an “unwanted guest.” The suspect had been in a relationship with the alleged victim, the report states, but had decided she didn’t want her there anymore.

Complainant stated Victim #1 was taking too long to use the bathroom, so she walked into the bathroom and tried to remove her from the toilet. Complainant stated in the process of this, she received a small scratch to her left arm. – Officer Cole’s investigative report.

The alleged victim told the officer that her attacker was saying over and over that she was going to, “beat her ass.”

Because the officer felt the victim was in a compromised and defensive position, he determined the complainant was the aggressor and arrested her for Assault, 3rd On A Family Or Household Member. Jenny R. Meine ended up spending the night in the Craighead County Detention Center and was released the following day around 4 PM, records show. Meanwhile, report did not indicate the victim was forced to leave the residence.
