Armed robbery reported at FairBridge Inn in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. – An armed robbery was reported at the FairBridge Inn & Suites this week.

At about 8:25 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, JPD Officer Nathanial Cole reported being dispatched to the hotel, 3006 South Caraway Road, to room 165 where a theft had already occurred. He made contact with the alleged victim who was staying in Jonesboro after a trip from Houston, she claimed, because of family in town. 27-year-old dead after inhaling air duster

JONESBORO, Ark. – A mother went to her daughter’s home Wednesday afternoon after she couldn’t get her to answer the phone. She feared the worst. When she arrived, all of those fears were realized. Her 27-year-old daughter was dead.

At about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jonesboro Fire Department and Emerson were already on the scene at 4315 Prospect Road when JPD arrived. The mother of the woman spoke to Detective Keri Varner, although she was too distraught to provide much information. Report: Suspect destroys Jonesboro hotel room

JONESBORO, Ark. – A suspect completely destroyed her hotel room this week in Jonesboro, a report said.

The report was taken Wednesday morning, June 21, at Econo Lodge, 2406 Phillips Drive in Jonesboro, but the incident happened between June 18 at 1:06 p.m. and June 21, 11 a.m. Pearl Maequeshia Knighton, 22, of Sacramento, CA, was staying in the room but when she checked out, staff found the room – and two adjacent rooms – had taken large damage.
