JONESBORO, Ark. – A traffic stop for blacked out tail lamps resulted in a man being arrested for driving without a license and drug possession last week in Jonesboro.
Officer Levi Chism observed the vehicle around 6:18 PM near E. Word Avenue and N. Drake Street in Jonesboro, the incident report with the Jonesboro Police Department said. His report states that the vehicle had blacked out tail lamps, the cause for his traffic stop.
The report lists both white crystallized solid suspected meth as well as liquid meth, both in a syringe. The report notes multiple syringes with residue.
Douglas Levi Anderson, 42, of Jonesboro, was arrested for possession of meth or cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, a failure to appear warrant, and a contempt of court for failing to pay fines warrant.
The report lists a court date of April 26 at 8:30 AM.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
