JONESBORO, Ark. – A report indicates that an aggravated assault took place in the early hours of July 5th, involving a juvenile suspect who aimed a gun at a victim.
The incident occurred around 12:21 AM at the 300-block of Scott Drive, according to the police report. Law enforcement responded to a call regarding shots fired, as noted by the officer in the report.
While much of the report remains undisclosed due to the ongoing investigation, it mentions that the aggravated assault was a result of a dispute among juvenile gang members. During the incident, the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at the victims.
The suspect is described as a 17-year-old black male, approximately 5’7″ tall, with a heavier build weighing around 250 pounds.
