JONESBORO, Ark. – Residents in the area of County Road 703 might want to keep their eyes open for signs of attempted burglaries.
Craighead County Sheriff’s Department was sent to the 1000-block of County Road 703 Tuesday afternoon to take a report from a 75-year-old woman on an attempted break in. She returned home around 2:30 PM and noticed someone had tried to break into her shop.
Deputy Mike Lawrence took the report. He observed two hinges had been completely taken off the door. However, that’s where the suspects gave up.
The suspect(s) were unable to gain entry and no damage was caused. Nothing was reported stolen.
