
JONESBORO, Ark. – The First Community Bank Wonderland Rink will remain open in downtown Jonesboro through Jan. 29, Jonesboro Parks Director Wixson Huffstetler announced Wednesday.
Citing the popularity of the simulated ice rink, Huffstetler said the city will continue to provide the opportunity a month longer than its original date of closure.
Hours will remain 4-10 p.m. weekdays, 1-10 p.m. Saturday and 1-6 p.m. Sunday. Entry is $5 per person and includes skate rental for 45 minutes of skate time, beginning at the top of every hour.
Sundays are available for groups up to 25 participants. The rate to reserve a party is $130 and $5 for each additional participant after the first 25. Reservation times for Sunday parties are 6-7 p.m., 7:30-8:30 p.m., and 9-10 p.m.
The rink is also available for school field trips. Schools can rent the rink for one-hour time slots starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m. weekdays. Cost of rink rental is $150, limited to 60 skaters at a time.
