LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Three lucky lottery players recently won big prizes playing $10 and $20 scratch-off games.
A Woodruff County resident won $500,000 playing 200X, a $20 instant game, and claimed the prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center in late May. The winning ticket was sold at 2S Square LLC, 401 N. Edmonds Ave., McCrory.
“No way this is real,” the lucky winner thought.
For other Arkansas players hoping for a top prize win, two $500,000 prizes remain on 200X.
Another winner, Nadine M. of Citrus County, Fla., won $200,000 on the $200,000 Bonus Cash instant game. She claimed her prize on June 4.
The winning ticket was sold at Love’s Travel Stop #267, 1600 N. Highway 95 in Morrilton.
A truck driver, Nadine enjoys buying lottery crossword-inspired instant games and newly launched tickets as a pastime. During a trip to Morrilton, she found herself drawn to $200,000 Bonus Cash, a $10 ticket that launched in May. She scratched the ticket in the store immediately after her purchase.
“I was in disbelief,” Nadine told lottery officials.
The lucky winner first told her brother, who was both happy and hesitant to believe the good news.
“I have tons of plans for the prize,” Nadine told lottery officials. One of her plans is to share her winnings with her family.
Two $200,000 top prizes remain on $200,000 Bonus Cash.
Estefany L. from Desha County also won a $200,000 top prize playing Cash Mania and claimed her prize on June 9.
The $10 winning ticket was sold at A Tobacco Outlet LLC, located at 101 Crooked Bayou in McGehee.
Estefany visited the ASL Claim Center for the very first time after discovering the winning scratch-off ticket.
The winner, who plays the lottery daily with her husband, initially believed she had won $200. Wanting to be sure, she showed the ticket to her husband.
“I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “Is this really happening?”
Her husband’s reaction said it all: “Wow!”
A second look confirmed the astonishing truth—the prize was actually $200,000.
The couple will use the prize for a first-time family cruise with their son, turning a dream into reality. They also plan to invest part of the winnings.
Two $200,000 top prizes remain on Cash Mania.
