JONESBORO, Ark. – She was already wanted by police before being caught shoplifting, the report indicates.
Alijah D. Wilder, 20, of Jonesboro, was apprehended Thursday at Dillards, at the Mall at Turtle Creek. Security told Jonesboro Police Department that Wilder was seen concealing items and attempting to leave the store without paying for them.
Wilder gave police a fake name, according to the report, calling herself Tionna Young Richardson. While searching the suspect’s purse, police found an Arkansas State ID revealing her actual name.
Once dispatch checked her, a confirmed bench warrant for her arrest through Craighead County Sheriff’s Office was found.
Police arrested Wilder and took her to Craighead County Detention Center. She faces misdemeanor shoplifting and obstruction of justice charges. She will be in court Dec. 28 at 1 p.m.
