VIDEO: Motorcyclist Accused of Reaching 150 MPH During Greene County Pursuit

GREENE COUNTY, Ark. — A motorcyclist was arrested minutes after an Arkansas State Police trooper ended a high-speed pursuit in Greene County, according to an incident report.

The pursuit began at approximately 3:41 p.m. June 3 on U.S. Highway 49 near Greene County Road 921.

A trooper traveling south reported seeing a gray-and-black sport motorcycle traveling north at approximately 87 mph while passing another vehicle. The driver was described as a man wearing a gray helmet, white T-shirt, blue jeans and a black backpack.

The trooper turned around and activated his emergency lights and siren. According to the report, the motorcycle accelerated to approximately 120 mph and passed about six vehicles using the continuous left-turn lane before turning east onto Arkansas Highway 69.

The motorcycle continued at speeds exceeding 150 mph, preventing the trooper from keeping up, the report states.

The trooper lost sight of the motorcycle at approximately 3:43 p.m. after a sharp curve on Highway 69. Believing the driver may have turned onto Greene County Road 915, the trooper checked the county road but was unable to locate the motorcycle.

The trooper then deactivated his emergency equipment and terminated the pursuit.

About four minutes later, Cpl. Aaron Morphis reported seeing a motorcycle matching the description near Highway 69 and Greene County Road 957. Morphis directed the driver to pull onto the shoulder.

The original trooper responded and identified the motorcycle and driver as those involved in the pursuit, according to the report.

The driver was identified as Wyatt Brayden Fuller, 27.

After being advised of his rights, Fuller allegedly told troopers he had just left work at Anchor Packaging. The report states that investigators later determined that claim was false.

Fuller also reportedly said he had been visiting a friend on Greene County Road 957 but declined to provide an address or show troopers where the friend lived.

The motorcycle was towed, and Fuller was taken to the Greene County Detention Center.

He was booked on suspicion of felony fleeing involving substantial danger of death, second-offense reckless driving, obstructing governmental operations, speeding, improper passing, operating a motorcycle without a license and having no liability insurance. Bond was set at $150,000.

The speeding citation listed Fuller’s alleged speed as 140 mph in a 55-mph zone.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
