(WALNUT RIDGE, Ark.) – Rising Christian artist Evan Egerer is scheduled to perform at Williams Baptist University in November. Egerer, who blends Latin pop with contemporary Christian music, will be in concert Thursday, November 5, in WBU’s Manley Chapel as part of the university’s homecoming week celebration.
Egerer is a bilingual second-generation Latin American artist based out of Nashville. His single “Renaci” earned him a featured spot on K-LOVE’s “Fresh Sounds” playlist and his performances have earned him national recognition, including the top spot at Creation Festival’s National Music Tournament.
He has also performed at music festivals and fairs across the country and worked with artists such as Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp, Big Daddy Weave, Phil Wickham, Crowder and others.
Carving out his signature sound, Egerer’s single “¡DALE! (Praise)” gained radio play across the nation on stations like WayFM and JOY FM, and was also featured by K LOVE. The success led him to releasing a version of it with Jaci Velasquez, which led to further radio play and performances, such as the K-LOVE cruise.
The concert is November 5 at 7 PM in Manley Chapel, with doors opening at 6:15. Tickets are $5 for the public and free to WBU students with ID. The tickets are available at https://evanegererwbu.eventbrite.com.
Williams is a private, Christian university in Walnut Ridge.
