JONESBORO, Ark. — BA Burrito has closed its Southwest Drive location and consolidated operations at The Yard, citing rising rent, food costs and labor expenses.
The restaurant said in an announcement that those expenses have made operating on the restaurant industry’s thin profit margins increasingly difficult.
“While we hated closing our SW Drive location, it was the best decision for our business,” the announcement said.
BA at The Yard remains open at 1918 Aggie Road in Jonesboro. The business said that location is about 3.5 miles from the Southwest Drive restaurant and continues to offer dine-in service, DoorDash delivery and a full-service bar.
“BA isn’t closed—we’ve simply consolidated our two locations!” the business said.
