JONESBORO, Ark. — A Jonesboro man appeared in court for his bail hearing on Friday, facing charges of possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Daniel Lee Mooneyham, 52, of Jonesboro, appeared before Judge Tommy Fowler on June 20, 2025. He faces one charge of possession or use of child sexual abuse material, a Class B felony. Bail was set at $75,000 cash or surety with an order not to use the internet or any internet-enabled device.
According to the probable cause affidavit, JPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children division received a tip from Arkansas State Police that originally came from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). In that tip, Yahoo indicated that since 2011, there had been child sexual assault material sent from the email address to the same email address, which was labeled Daniel Mooneyham.
Yahoo provided information that linked the subject to two email accounts and a cellular account, labeled “My Cell” in the email. Officers searched and verified the phone number returned to Mooneyham. The IP address associated with the account was shown to be an Optimum account associated with Nostalgia World Sports Cards, 2400 E. Nettleton Avenue in Jonesboro.
Authorities executed a search warrant on the email addresses associated with Mooneyham. The affidavit alleges that a large amount of CSAM was observed within the emails sent and received by Mooneyham.
On Thursday, June 19, a search warrant was executed at Nostalgia World Sports Cards, the business of Mooneyham. The affidavit states that during the search warrant, the phone of Mooneyham was found to have photos of CSAM.
Police reported they read Mooneyham his rights before he stated that he views and possesses CSAM on his devices.
His next court appearance is scheduled for July 31.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
