JONESBORO, Ark. – A suspect faces several felony charges after an involuntary admission became violent Friday in Jonesboro.
Around 10 AM on June 28, officers were dispatched to the 1800-block of Highland Drive for a crisis intervention. While much of the report is masked, the decision was made to take the subject into custody to be evaluated by medical personnel.
The incident report says while being taken into custody, the man struck an officer with a closed fist and kicked at police, too. Once transported to the medical facility, the report says the subject became combative with staff. A male nurse was reportedly kicked in the face while a female nurse sustained scratches after the subject reportedly tried to strike her.
Eventually, the situation was deescalated and officers were able to turn the subject over to medical center staff.
Aaron Crow, 43, of Pocahontas, faces charges including felony second degree battery on a police, fire, or correctional employee and felony second degree battery on a medical employee.
