JONESBORO, Ark. – Several burglaries were reported over the weekend in Jonesboro but at least two of them involved armed subjects.
One of the incident reports from the Jonesboro Police Department detailing the armed burglaries began at 2:30 PM on March 17 at the 500-block of Meadowbrook Street. The report says suspects kicked in the back door of two residences at the same duplex and stole valuables while armed.
Five suspects are listed in the incident report. They are listed as 18-30 year old males but no other descriptive information was available.
One of the victims reported a Playstation stolen along with six pairs of Jordans, a Bohemian purse, children’s Nike tech jackets, and a pink Michael Khors purse. Another victim reported a Playstation and two pairs of Jordans.
Detectives were investigating the burglaries on Monday. In addition to the two mentioned above, detectives also investigated:
- A reported burglary between 3/15 and 3/17 at the 900-block of Twin Oaks Avenue
- A reported burglary between 3/16 and 3/17 at the 400-block of N. Allis Street
