Teen Driver Causes Damage at Jonesboro McDonald’s

JONESBORO, Ark. — Police in Jonesboro are currently investigating an incident that occurred on Friday, during which a teenage driver is alleged to have struck four vehicles and caused significant damage to fencing at a local McDonald’s restaurant.

The incident took place between 12:03 PM and 12:36 PM on October 20 at the McDonald’s located at 111 East Highland Drive. The suspect vehicle involved in the case is a black 2022 Genesis G80 SUV, registered under the name of Marcia Perry. However, it was a 16-year-old male who was behind the wheel of the vehicle.

According to the report, the SUV collided with four different vehicles at the McDonald’s, resulting in rear-end damage to all four of them.

The extent of the damages didn’t stop at the vehicles. The report also notes that the restaurant’s fencing sustained considerable damage, with initial estimates suggesting the cost of repairs may reach $10,000.

The report did not list any arrests.

Authorities are actively investigating the incident, and more details may emerge as the case unfolds.
