Multiple DWI Arrests Made in Jonesboro Over Weekend

Several individuals were arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) in Jonesboro over the weekend, according to police reports.

On June 16, at approximately 9:30 PM, a suspect identified as Michael Lee Primm, 61, was arrested at the intersection of East Parker and Harrisburg roads. Primm was charged with DWI and hazardous driving.

During the early hours of June 18, another DWI arrest took place near Mulberry and N. Church. Kevin Jermaine Dotson, 51, of Jonesboro, was accused of driving while intoxicated and arrested for DWI and refusal to submit.

Shortly after, around 2 AM, an individual identified as Eli Duke, 23, of Paragould, was stopped for speeding and reckless driving at Aggie Road and Red Wolf Boulevard. Upon investigation, Duke was found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Duke was arrested for DWI, reckless driving, no proof of insurance, offenses involving a motor vehicle equipped with an ignition interlock device, refusal to submit, and no driver’s license.

At approximately the same time, a DWI arrest occurred at the 2800-block of Fair Park Boulevard. Ernesto Vasquez Contreras, 21, of Leachville, was arrested after being involved in a private property accident. The arrest was made on charges of DWI related to drugs.

Between 2:10 AM and 2:15 AM, another individual, identified as Daniel Oneal Smith, 32, of Palestine, was arrested at the 2900-block of Phillips Drive. Smith was charged with DWI, possession of pills, and refusal to submit.

Lastly, at Highland Drive and Caraway Road, Idea Michelle Smith, 41, of Jonesboro, was arrested for DWI between 2:41 AM and 3:09 AM.

Please note that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
