JONESBORO, Ark. — Video sent to NEA Report by the Jonesboro Baskin-Robbins shows a woman appearing to take nearly all of the money from the store’s tip jar Tuesday night.
The incident happened June 23 at the Baskin-Robbins at 2200 Red Wolf Blvd. in Jonesboro.
The owner told NEA Report the woman came into the store, did not buy anything, and hung around the grab-and-go area before appearing to take money from the tip jar. The owner estimated that $15 to $20 was taken.
The video shows a woman at the counter before she appears to remove cash from the jar. The owner said the money belonged to employees working at the business.
Store management plans to contact the police on Wednesday.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
