PARAGOULD, Ark. – Slim Chickens is coming to Paragould, AR! Haag Brown is excited to announce that the fast-growing national QSR will be making its way to the epicenter of Paragould’s retail district.

The fast, casual restaurant will be strategically located just off one of the most prominent intersections in the city, the corner of Highway 412 and Highway 49. Slim Chickens will be positioned on a 1.3-acre site, formerly home to a car wash and ice vendor.

“Hwy 412 has long been a thoroughfare for commerce. I am excited to see this property develop for the betterment of our community. This could be the catalyst for future redevelopment along Hwy 412 East, as Paragould continues to grow. “ – Mayor Josh Agee, Paragould, AR

Paragould has seen a great deal of commercial growth over the last several years so it is not hard to see why Slim Chickens would want to locate to the area. With over 200 locations worldwide, the Fayetteville-based restaurant has developed multiple stores in Arkansas in the past few years making this location their 26th in the state.

Haag Brown is pleased to have finger-prints on the growth and redevelopment of the city’s market, adding several projects to the area within the past decade including Starbucks, Checkers, Freddy’s, Steak ‘N Shake, Fazoli’s, CVS, and more.

“This is certainly not our first project in Paragould, but it will be one of the most exciting. The brand and the operators greatly impact the cities they operate in. They go all out, purchasing larger sites for a bigger store concept, and are excellent community partners. The city of Paragould has a lot of steam right now. There is good news weekly. The leadership is made up of people who are doers— people that make things happen, not just talk about it.” – Joshua Brown, Haag Brown Commercial Principal

Paragould’s free-standing store will follow the restaurant’s modern design which features a lighted outdoor patio and full-service drive-through. Construction on the Slim Chickens is expected to begin soon.
