Fatal shooting under investigation in Blytheville

BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. – A man is dead after being shot Saturday in Mississippi County.

The Blytheville Police Department responded to a shooting incident on Saturday, May 20, 2023, in the 1600 Block of Stuart. Officers arrived at the scene and discovered Christopher Hogan, 34, of Blytheville, who had been shot. Hogan was transported to Great River Medical Center for medical treatment.

Tragically, Hogan succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical care at the hospital.

The Blytheville Police Department has begun an investigation into the shooting.

Updates regarding the investigation will be provided to the public as they become available, the department said.
