BURDETTE, Ark., Sept. 25, 2026 — Arkansas State Police said a preliminary summary shows Larry Z. Harris, 59, of Blytheville, died after his vehicle left the roadway on US 61 at Sandy Ridge Road.
State police said the southbound 2014 Buick Enclave failed to maintain its lane, crossed the center line, left the roadway, struck a guardrail, became airborne and overturned. The crash was reported at 11:25 p.m., according to the preliminary summary.
The agency listed weather as clear and road conditions as dry. The investigating trooper was Trooper Daniel E. Young, 648, Arkansas State Police said. This account is from a preliminary Arkansas State Police summary and is not a final determination of fault.
