JONESBORO, Ark. – After the Nettleton Touchdown Club alerted authorities to a break in in the concession stand, investigators collected a notable piece of evidence which may identify the guilty party.
A shoe impression was found on a door of the Touchdown Club when investigators responded Monday morning in reference to a break in to the concession stand from over the weekend, between Friday, September 13 and September 15. Chris Poe with Jonesboro Police Department took digital photos with scale of the shoe, which made a dust transfer impression onto the door.
“The impression observed and photographed could be used to
identify what type of shoe sole was used to make the impression,” Poe wrote. “I noticed nothing on the impression that would allow individualization to a certain shoe.”
A glass window pane was damaged and a door handle on the refrigerator was broken off. It will cost several hundred dollars to repair both.
It was not clear in the report if something was stolen or if vandals simply did damage to the area. Some of the report is still masked to public view. However, the suspect or suspects face at least one felony charge for breaking or entering a building.
And a shoe print on the door is the kind of evidence which should make the guilty parties nervous.
