Inventors Club meets Thursday (9.19.19)

The Inventors Club of Northeast Arkansas to hold meeting on Thursday September 19.

JONESBORO, AR. – The Inventors Club of Northeast Arkansas, has announced the organizations September meeting of 2019 for Thursday.

The meeting will be at Fat City Grill located at 3751 East Johnson, Jonesboro.

The meeting is open to members and supporters of the Inventors Club of Northeast Arkansas and to the public who want to know more about the Inventors Club and how it can help them develop new product ideas and discuss the patent process.

Jim Clester president will open the meeting.

Robert Bahn, Business consultant with the Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development Center and Ty Keller, Center Director of ASTATE Innovate will talk about the United States Patent and Trademark Office Pro Bono program that makes it possible for an inventor to use the legal expertise from the USPTO to put together a patent filing.  Bahn, also the Technology Consultant with the ASTATE SBTDC, will talk about how he helps inventors with their project. The consulting and market research services at the ASTATE SBTDC are free and confidential.

Ty Keller, Director of ASTATE Innovate will also talk about the USPTO Pro Bono program and will answer questions about the services of ASTATE Innovate and the three locations, Garage, Shop and Lab where inventors can work on their inventions using up to date  equipment including 3 D printers. ASTATE Innovate members can us the equipment for a monthly fee.

Steve Schrantz, local patent attorney will also be available to answer patenting questions.

You do not have to be a dues paying member to attend. We appreciate the support if you do decide to become a dues paying member.
