JONESBORO, Ark. – A possible aggravated robbery from Monday, Nov. 19, is being investigated by Jonesboro Police Department after it was reported several days later.
Because of the nature of the report, the precise address and some other details are masked.
Incident report 18-10466 was taken on East Gordon Street on November 23, four days after when the robbery was said to have taken place, said JPD Cpl. David McDaniel, a public information officer for the department. An adult female reported on Monday, Nov. 19, two subjects she is familiar with came to her home with two additional subjects that she was not familiar with and pointed at gun at her while stealing her property, McDaniel said. She couldn’t provide a time frame for the robbery but she may have been too traumatized by the reported event.
The female was not the one who called authorities. She was suffering from an unknown mental health episode, McDaniel said. Her fiance called first responders over her psychological status. The woman was transported from the scene to a hospital for medical care.
The case has been assigned to Detective Fox and is under investigation. Anyone with information should contact him at 870-935-6710 or anonymously call Crimestoppers at 870-935-STOP.
East Gordon Street is close to the intersection of Johnson Avenue and Main Street, near downtown Jonesboro.
