Denim Jeans Needed for Sexual Assault Awareness Project

JONESBORO – The Arkansas State University Department of Art and Design is asking for donations of denim jeans for an upcoming project as a part of the spring semester Pack Pact events.

The rear pockets of the jeans will be used to make a pocket quilt that will be a place for collecting stories and comments by those who want to share their experiences as victims of sexual assault during Sexual Assault Awareness week in April.

Donations should be brought to the Department of Art and Design office, room 103-A, in the Fine Arts Center before Friday, March 2.

For more information, contact Dr. Temma Balducci, chair of the department.
