JONESBORO, Ark. — The Jonesboro and Lake City District Court clerk’s offices have received statewide recognition for the timely filing of criminal and traffic case citations.
The Arkansas Administrative Office of the Courts presented the offices with a 2026 Court Data Honor during the closing session of the annual Arkansas Court Automation Programs Conference on July 24.
The honor recognizes achievement in maintaining accurate court records, improving the quality of case information and ensuring court data reliably reflects the work of Arkansas courts.
Chief Clerk Bridgett Clifft, Lake City Deputy Clerk Linda Holland and the District Court staff were recognized for their accurate case reporting and management of pending cases during the past year.
The Administrative Office of the Courts also credited District Judges David Boling and Tommy Fowler, attorneys and other justice system partners in Craighead County with contributing to the results.
“Being recognized by the AOC for data quality is truly an honor and reflects the dedication of our entire court,” Clifft said. “I am incredibly proud of our clerk’s office and the care they put into their work every day.”
Clifft said court records should accurately document what occurred and allow anyone reviewing a case to understand its history and progression. Accurate data supports accountability, consistency and the integrity of the judicial process, she said.
Scott Graves, director of the Office of Research and Justice Statistics, said reliable data helps courts manage their work, allows judicial leaders to understand their caseloads and ensures information provided to the public can be trusted.
“This award reflects the exceptional commitment of Bridgett Clifft, the District Court Clerk’s Office, Judge David Boling and Judge Tommy Fowler, and the justice system partners in Craighead County,” Graves said.
The annual conference brings together court and clerk personnel from across Arkansas. The Arkansas Court Automation Programs supports courts through technology, technical assistance, public access to court information and the development of online court services.
