PARAGOULD, Ark. — A Paragould man faces an aggravated residential burglary allegation after a woman told officers he kicked in her door and took her cellphone when she said she would contact police, according to a Greene County court affidavit.
The affidavit identifies the man as Theodore Seggerman and lists one count of aggravated residential burglary, a Class A felony, and three Class A misdemeanor allegations.
Officers were dispatched to a residence Oct. 11, 2026, for a reported domestic violence incident, according to the affidavit signed by Investigator Hunter De Sesso.
The woman told officers Seggerman kicked in the door to her residence and that a brief verbal altercation followed, the affidavit states.
When she told Seggerman she was going to contact law enforcement, he took her cellphone and fled the residence, according to the affidavit.
The woman sustained injuries to her arm, the investigator wrote. The affidavit does not describe how those injuries occurred.
In addition to the burglary allegation, the affidavit lists theft of property, third-degree domestic battering and interference with emergency communication.
He was booked into jail shortly before midnight on October 11, 2026, records show.
In an Oct. 12 order, Greene County District Judge Curtis Hitt found probable cause for the arrest and set bond at $50,000 surety, or another form acceptable to the Greene County sheriff, pending a first appearance.
The order prohibits contact with the victim, witnesses or other people involved in the case. It also requires Seggerman to remain law-abiding and prohibits him from possessing weapons.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
