Debit Card Theft Report Leads to Fraud Charges for Jonesboro Suspect

JONESBORO, Ark. — A Jonesboro suspect was arrested after police said a stolen debit card was used to make a $350 charge through PrizePicks.

Jessie Droughn, 22, was arrested on charges of theft of property involving credit or debit cards and fraudulent use of a credit card. Jail records also show a resisting arrest charge.

According to the report, a Jonesboro Police Department officer took a report March 19, 2026, from a victim in the 2000 block of Hytrol Drive regarding a debit card theft.

The victim told police that on March 18, 2026, her friend had the debit card to purchase snacks when Droughn took the card and pretended to use it, according to the report. Later, on March 18 at 2:07 CST, the victim got a notification that a $350 charge had been made on her card to PrizePicks.

Police said a 2027 search warrant showed the PrizePicks account belonged to Droughn and that the victim’s card was used on March 18 at 21:27 EST with a geographic location of Hytrol. The report also states the same account had been used at Droughn’s home address.

Droughn’s bail was set at $5,000 cash or surety. The next court date is June 26.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
