JONESBORO, Ark. — A melee broke out Thursday night at Walmart on Highland Drive in Jonesboro, and some of the fighting was caught on video.
JPD’s Public Information Official Sally Smith said no police reports were completed about the incidents. There were, however, two 911 calls.
NEA Report requested the call logs. In one of the 911 calls made at 7:17 PM, the caller states that 20 people were fighting, many younger. No associates were injured. One black Malibu left the scene on Highland Drive, but they were gone by the time police arrived.
A second 911 call at 7:18 PM reported that the groups were beating employees. The groups scattered and were in random parts of the store shortly thereafter.
Unless one of the involved parties files a police report in the case, Smith said it is unlikely a report would be completed on the incident.
