PARAGOULD, Ark. — A suspect is accused of sending threats to one victim while holding a gun to the head of another victim last week in Paragould.
According to the probable cause affidavit, on October 9, 2025, an alleged victim reported receiving threatening messages from their spouse. The victim provided screenshots of the message history that showed messages of “U are DEAD” and “So u and her can both get the BULLET”.
Later that same morning, police said a second victim reported Richards had held a gun to their head at the same time the threatening messages were received by the first victim. The message history corroborates this, wrote Det. Cpl. Aaron Gamber.
Richards was read his Miranda rights and, according to police, made incriminating statements.
He was arrested for terroristic threatening and aggravated assault on a family or household member, both Class D felonies.
Bail was set at $20,000 cash-only by Judge Dan Stidham. Orders were also put in place for no contact, no weapons, no conduct that would result in his arrest, and an ankle monitor.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
