HOXIE, Ark. — A Lawrence County man faces charges following an alleged domestic violence incident over the weekend in Hoxie.
The probable cause affidavit says on Nov. 9, Hoxie officers were dispatched to a residence off of Pecan Street regarding a call about a physical domestic altercation. Officers arrived and made contact with the male defendant, who was holding a one-year-old male juvenile child.
The affidavit states that, while interviewing both the male and a female, officers were shown a video of the male violently throwing the one-year-old onto the couch and then punching the woman in the stomach.
The woman reported she is currently 36 weeks pregnant.
Dominik Wiliam Bass, 20, of Black Rock, was arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center. He faces charges including third-degree domestic battery against a pregnant victim, a felony, and third-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, a misdemeanor.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
