JONESBORO, Ark. — A suspect faces charges including a felony after a domestic disturbance got out of control, according to court documents.
The probable cause affidavit says at about 8:09 p.m. on October 8, JPD responded to the 1900 block of North Culberhouse. Officers found two female subjects arguing in the driveway and separated the pair. They spoke to the alleged victim, who said she had been attempting to gather her items and leave the home she shares with her wife.
The victim alleged that her wife, the suspect, would not allow her to leave the home by standing in front of the exit, and also physically restraining her. The alleged victim said the suspect became increasingly angry and threw several items at her. One of the items was reportedly a large kitchen knife. The alleged victim wasn’t struck.
Officers on the scene reported that the defendant admitted to officers she had not allowed the victim to leave the home until they had a conversation.
Jordan Leann Bullock, 35, was arrested for aggravated assault on a family or household member, a felony, and second-degree kidnapping/false imprisonment, a misdemeanor. Bail was set at $25,000 cash or surety. The next court appearance is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on November 14.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
