Drug Task Force Search Warrant Leads to Three Arrests

JONESBORO, Ark. –  Three people are facing charges after a raid by the 2nd Judicial District Drug Task Force this week in Jonesboro.

It happened around 10:57 AM on March 12 at 301 Cedar Heights Cove in Jonesboro. The drug task force executed a search warrant at an apartment unit at the location. Police reported finding numerous illegal narcotics at the location, including fentanyl.

Michael Anthony Bankston, 67, of Jonesboro, was arrested on charges including possession of meth or cocaine with purpose to deliver and cruelty to animals.

Sherri Allen, 51, of Jonesboro, was arrested for possession of meth and a probation violation. She also had a warrant for her arrest.

Authorities arrested Vickie Lynn Evans, 67, of Jonesboro, for possession of fentanyl. She also had a warrant for non-payment of fines.

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court.
