JONESBORO, Ark. — An 81-year-old man was reportedly attacked and robbed at his home on the 200-block of Maple Street, between August 22 and August 23, according to a report filed on August 25 by the Jonesboro Police Department.
Due to the ongoing investigation, much of the report remains undisclosed to the public. However, it reveals that two black female suspects, one aged 53 and the other between 30 and 40, are alleged to have attacked the elderly man. The report says the elderly victim sustained minor injuries.
Following the assault, the suspects reportedly stole the man’s phone before fleeing the scene.
The suspects were seen in a four-door passenger car, although further details are currently limited.
As of the most recent update visible to the public, the case is still under investigation.
