Catalytic Converters Stolen from Jonesboro Car Dealership

JONESBORO, Ark. – Several vehicles at Nebo Auto Center faced a costly incident when catalytic converters were snatched from them between August 5 and 7.

The theft, which took place at 3910 S. Stadium Boulevard, specifically targeted two vehicles on the dealership’s parking lot. Among the victimized vehicles was a maroon 2018 Toyota Tundra pickup. The converters, frequently sold as scrap metal, have cost the dealership an estimated $4,000 in damages.

In Arkansas, stealing catalytic converters is considered a felony, reflecting the severity and cost of the crime.

The Jonesboro Police Department (JPD) is actively investigating the thefts and seeks the public’s help. If anyone has information regarding this incident, they are urged to reach out to JPD immediately.
