JPD seeks suspect in shooting of woman

JONESBORO, Ark. – The week in Jonesboro began with a shooting incident that injured one. Police were still searching for a suspect at last update.

Officers responded around 3:20 pm Monday to the 200 block of Rogers Street after a male advised dispatch that a female had been shot in the leg. A tourniquet was applied and EMS transported the victim to an area hospital.

This investigation is ongoing and no other information was released by police.
