
JONESBORO, Ark. – One person was arrested Thursday night in Jonesboro after police responded in reference to a woman being held against her will at gunpoint.
It happened around 6:30 PM December 29 at the 3700-block of Kristi Lake Drive. Multiple officers responded to the scene.
The report’s MO says the suspect hit a girl and threatened her with a gun. Most of the report itself is masked while still under investigation. Three juveniles were present during the incident. The victim, 30, listed as having a relationship with the suspect, suffered two swollen eyes, a busted lip, bruised knee, and had scratches and bruising around her neck.
Keith Darell Jackson, 32, was arrested.
Officers inventoried one gun and several rounds into evidence along with a small amount of marijuana.
Jackson was arrested and booked in Craighead County Detention Center. He remains there as of this publication. The case is being investigated for the possible charges of felony aggravated assault, domestic battery 3 (pregnant victim), kidnapping, and theft by receiving; along with misdemeanor possession and interference with emergency communication.
