JONESBORO, AR – Former ASU Chancellor Tim Hudson will not faces charges after a grand jury’s decision, announced today.
Second Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ellington announces that on Wednesday, December 12th, prosecutors presented evidence to a grand jury which was collected by the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division during the investigation of former Arkansas State University Chancellor Tim Hudson. The grand jury returned a decision of “No True Bill.”
No True Bill is a legal procedure to dismiss charges against a defendant when the grand jury does not find enough evidence to charge the defendant with violating a criminal law.
Therefore, the matter involving Tim Hudson is now closed, with no charges filed.
