JONESBORO, Ark. – The Jonesboro Police Department along side Arkansas State University Police Department and representatives from Arkansas Children’s Hospital will be hosting a Child Passenger Safety Seat Check-up Event on Saturday, December 1st, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the parking lot next to the Arkansas State University Baseball Field which is located at 208 Olympic Drive.
Personnel from each organization will be present to assess existing child safety seat installations and to offer assistance to those needing help or instructions on the proper installation of a child safety seat.
Those involved hope to help make children in our community safer when they travel by offering guidance and training to care givers on the proper use, installation and requirements of child safety seats in motor vehicles.
