July 11 – ASBTDC To Present "How to Start a Small Business" Workshop

JONESBORO – A free workshop, “How to Start a Small Business,” is being presented Tuesday, July 11, at the Delta Center for Economic Development, 319 University Loop, at Arkansas State University. The events runs from 9-11:30 a.m.

The workshop, a must for first-time small business owners, includes discussion on essential startup steps, legal business structures, credit reporting for small businesses, regulations and licensing, as well as key issues and common pitfalls that affect business success entrepreneurs can face.

“How to Start a Small Business” is co-sponsored by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) and BancorpSouth.

The ASBTDC is a partnership of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock College of Business and Arkansas State University College of Business.
