JONESBORO, Ark. – Apartments and televisions seem to be regular targets for criminals in Jonesboro.

On Sunday, Dec. 18, a woman was house sitting in Jonesboro. She left around 11 a.m. and returned at 3 p.m. to find a back window broken and a 50-inch television taken.

However, a 3-year-old may have given police the clue needed to crack the case.

The small child told the resident that a 17-year-old neighbor had broken the window and taken the television. The child said he saw the 17-year-old first break the window and then walk out the back door with a television.

Residential burglary is a felony charge. Theft of property valued at $1,000 or less is a misdemeanor.
