JONESBORO, Ark. – The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will host a public hearing on the proposed shooting complex will be held 5-7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 19, in City Council chambers at the Municipal Building, 300 S. Church St.
The range, planned to include stations for skeet, trap and target shooting, would be located on Moore Road near Interstate 555. AGFC and the City of Jonesboro are partnering on the project, which could be built in phases and would include an office, maintenance building, archery range, restroom facilities and a parking area.
Representatives of the Game and Fish Commission, as well as the City of Jonesboro, will be available to visit with the public at Monday’s meeting.
