CORNING — A Corning suspect was arrested earlier this week after police said a knife was used during a domestic disturbance involving a family member.
According to the Corning Police Department, an officer responded to a domestic disturbance call on Park Street on Dec. 9, 2025. During the investigation, the officer determined that the suspect allegedly brandished a knife during an altercation with a family or household member.
As a result of the investigation, Autumn Causey, 21, of Corning, was taken into custody and transported to the Clay County Detention Center.
Causey has been charged with aggravated assault on a family or household member, a Class D felony.
Clay County District Judge Dan Stidham set Causey’s bond at $10,000 cash.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
