Domino’s Driver Accused of Pointing Gun at Customer in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. — A Domino’s delivery driver is accused of pulling a gun on a man during a dispute in a drive-through line, according to Jonesboro police.

Officers responded about 10:18 p.m. Aug. 29 to the Domino’s on East Johnson Avenue after a man reported that another driver had yelled and cursed at him in the drive-through lane. The suspect, identified as 46-year-old Michael Shane Sellars of Jonesboro, allegedly sped around the victim, circled the building, and continued yelling as the victim picked up his order.

The victim told police that Sellars pointed a black handgun at him after blocking his vehicle, forcing him to flee the area on foot. A witness also reported seeing Sellars point the gun.

Police located Sellars’ vehicle a short time later and conducted a traffic stop at Old Greensboro Road and Pleasant View Drive. Sellars was taken into custody without incident. Officers said he had a handgun tucked into his waistband at the time of his arrest.

Sellars faces a charge of aggravated assault, a Class D felony. His bail was set at $5,000.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
