PARAGOULD, Ark. — A woman is accused of using her vehicle to facilitate a series of break-ins and later providing false information to police, authorities said.
Police responded to multiple vehicle break-in reports on Feb. 27 in a residential area. The break-ins resulted in the theft of a vehicle, debit and credit cards from four victims, and various other stolen property, according to investigators.
Authorities said their investigation led them to a vehicle belonging to Lindsey Yarbrough, which they believe was used in the crimes, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Police first interviewed Yarbrough on March 12 after being read her Miranda rights. Investigators said she provided false information at that time. On March 17, she was interviewed again and allegedly made incriminating statements regarding her involvement in the break-ins, as well as the false information she had initially given, police said.
Lindsey Yarbrough, 39, faces charges including Theft of Property, a Class C felony; ten counts of Breaking or Entering, a Class D felony; four counts of Theft of Property – Credit/Debit Card, a Class D felony; Hindering Apprehension, a Class D felony; three counts of Theft of Property, a Class A misdemeanor.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
