JONESBORO, Ark. — As the leaves turn golden and the air becomes crisp, it can mean only one thing – it’s time for the highly anticipated TRUNK OR TREAT festivities!
In collaboration with First Baptist Church, the Trunk or Treat Community Block Party promises to be even bigger and better than before. From 5-7 PM on October 25th, the corner of Union and Matthews will come alive with the spirit of Halloween. Streets will be temporarily closed to provide a safe and exciting environment for everyone to enjoy.
The event has something for everyone: live music, dancing, a cornucopia of candy, thrilling games, delectable food, and thirst-quenching drinks. It’s an opportunity to celebrate Halloween in a fun and friendly setting.
Last year, Southwest Church of Christ played host to an incredible event that drew the largest crowd in years, and this year, the community is ready to keep the Halloween party going.
Local vendors are warmly invited to participate and get into the Halloween spirit. Don your best costumes and decorate your car trunk with spooky creativity. There’s even a chance to win the title of “Frighteningly First,” “Spooktacular Second,” or “Terrifyingly Third Place” for the best-decorated trunk, determined by the people’s choice.
Of course, to make this event truly special, the organizers are seeking donations of individually wrapped candy. Contributions can be delivered to the Jonesboro Police Department at 1001 S Caraway Rd.
So, mark your calendars and get ready for a Halloween celebration like no other. The Trunk or Treat Community Block Party promises an evening of spooky fun, and the whole community is invited to join in the festivities!
