Probation Search Leads to Drug and Firearms Arrests

JONESBORO, Ark. – A probation search conducted this week in Jonesboro resulted in the arrest of two individuals on multiple felony charges, including drug and firearms-related offenses.

The operation took place between 12:43 PM and 2:09 PM on October 3 at the 2400-block of Circle Drive in Jonesboro. Agents from the Second Judicial Drug Task Force conducted the search at the residence of Craig Kellebrew, 51, of Jonesboro.

During the search, law enforcement discovered a black AR15-style rifle, a green ammo can containing .223 ammo rounds, a red dot scope, and a laser. They also located a digital scale with methamphetamine residue, plastic baggies, glass pipes, various plastic containers and cups with methamphetamine residue, and suspected methamphetamine itself. A white crystallized substance was found in the closet, in the top drawer of a black case, and in a nightstand. Additionally, police uncovered a bucket containing various pills.

As a result of the findings, both Craig Kellebrew and Opal L. Hanner, 49, of Jonesboro, were arrested on a range of charges, including possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver greater than 10 grams and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms. Various other charges related to possession with intent to deliver narcotics were also listed.
