Disturbing Reports of Child Sexual Abuse Emerge in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, Ark. – Multiple police reports filed this week in Jonesboro reveal deeply troubling incidents of sexual abuse involving children.

One report, filed on October 2 at the police station, details a disturbing case allegedly occurring over several years. The report indicates that a victim’s father has been arrested for sexual assault. Subsequently, a 16-year-old female victim disclosed to adults that she had been sexually assaulted by the suspect from the age of four until she was eight years old. Authorities have initiated an investigation into this matter.

In a separate incident reported to Jonesboro police, a 12-year-old girl alleges that an adult male suspect, aged 40, touched her inappropriately in her private area. The alleged incident is said to have occurred between December 2020 and October 2, when the report was filed. This case is also currently under investigation.

Another distressing report was filed with the police this week, detailing a juvenile victim’s account of being inappropriately touched between January 2020 and September 2023. The victim, a 6-year-old female, disclosed that her 50-year-old uncle had touched her genitals. Authorities are actively investigating this matter.
