JONESBORO, Ark. – A man is facing a felony charge of aggravated assault on a family or household member after an alleged domestic violence incident that left a victim with visible injuries.
The incident unfolded around 9:10 PM on September 17 at the 900-block of Sandino Drive. Law enforcement responded to a disturbance in progress and encountered a 45-year-old female victim who bore visible injuries. The victim displayed bruising around her neck, a swollen face, and potential internal injuries.
According to the police report, the arrestee is alleged to have choked the victim with his hands to the point where she was unable to breathe.
The suspect, identified as 50-year-old Kevin Roulon Hill of Jonesboro, was subsequently arrested. Hill faces a felony charge of aggravated assault on a family or household member, as well as misdemeanor charges for unauthorized use of a vehicle and interference with emergency communication in the first degree.
Currently, Hill is being held at the Craighead County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
