JONESBORO, Ark. – A local man discovered what he believed to be an enormous theft spanning several months in a report filed Friday with JPD.
The man, 74, of Jonesboro, reported that over $15,000 in unauthorized withdrawals was made with a debit card to his account. It happened between May 29, 2022 and November 15, 2022, the report says. Most of the report’s details weren’t visible but the theft was reported to total $18,000.
If accurately reported, the theft would constitute felony theft, greater than $5,000 but less than $25,000.
A female suspect was listed in the report but her details were masked.
