JONESBORO, Ark. – Authorities announced that a juvenile was in custody Tuesday night after an unspecified threat that was apparently posted online.
In a statement posted to social media, JPD said that Tuesday afternoon, they were made aware of a threat circulating on social media regarding Valley View school. Detectives began investigating the posts immediately and discovered a local student in the school district had made these threats. A 15-year-old was taken into custody. Police added there are no further active threats to students or the academic facilities at Valley View.
